# Cookie policy

Last updated 16 October 2026

This policy explains the cookies and browser storage that djarpstransportsolutions.com uses, what each one does, how long it lasts and how you can control them.

## What cookies and local storage are

Cookies and local storage are small pieces of information a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work or to remember a setting you chose. Others, such as analytics cookies, record how a site is used, and on this site those load only after you agree.

## The two kinds the site uses

- **Strictly necessary items** keep the site working and remember your choices. They are always on and are never used to track you.
- **Analytics and maps** help us understand how the site is used and show where we are on a map. They are off until you choose Accept, or switch them on in Cookie settings.

## Strictly necessary items

- **`djarps-theme`**: remembers your light, dark or device theme. Kept in your browser's local storage until you clear your browser's site data.
- **`wl-cookie-consent`**: remembers your cookie choice and when you made it. Kept in your browser's local storage until you change it or clear your browser's site data.

These stay on your device and are not sent to us.

## Analytics cookies, only with your consent

If you accept analytics, the site loads:

- **Google Analytics 4**, which shows which pages are read, how visitors arrive, roughly where they are (city or region, worked out from the IP address), what device and browser they use and how long they stay. It sets cookies whose names begin with `_ga`, which Google sets to last up to two years.
- **Microsoft Clarity**, which records how visitors use a page, such as clicks and scrolling, to show where people get stuck. It masks text typed into form fields. It sets cookies named `_clck` (up to one year) and `_clsk` (one day).

If you decline, ignore the banner, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, neither tool loads and none of these cookies is set.

## Google Maps, only with your consent

The footer of each page can show our location on an embedded Google Map. The map is loaded from Google, which sets its own cookies and receives your IP address when it loads, so it appears only after you accept analytics and maps. Until then, the footer offers a link that opens our listing on Google Maps instead.

## Cookies set on other websites

When you follow a link from this site to another website, such as Google Maps, Facebook, YouTube or LinkedIn, that website sets its own cookies under its own policy.

## How to change your choice

Choose **Cookie settings** in the footer of any page, or use the button on the [cookie settings](https://djarpstransportsolutions.com/cookie-settings/) page. Turning analytics and maps off stops them from loading, removes the analytics cookies the site can remove, and applies on your next page view.

## Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the site treats it as a decline of analytics and maps automatically, even if you accepted before. The signal belongs to each browser, so set it on each browser you use.

## Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser's settings. The site still works without them; your theme and cookie choice will simply not be remembered.

## Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If we add a new kind of optional cookie, the banner asks for your choice again.

## Contact

Questions about cookies can go to us by phone on [+1 (658) 202-4240](tel:+16582024240) or through the [contact page](https://djarpstransportsolutions.com/contact/). The [privacy policy](https://djarpstransportsolutions.com/privacy-policy/) explains how we handle personal information.
